Arrow is now offering Harwin’s full range of PC/104 compatible bus connectors for embedded PC applications. Available in standard and press fit configurations, the connectors will suit a wide range of environments including test and measurement, medical and automotive equipment.
Designed for stacking boards with a common bus, the Harwin connectors meet industry standards for embedded PCs and have a maximum 3A current rating. The press fit tail option enables solder-free attachment.

Connectors are available in a number of configurations, including 32 + 32 ways, to support 8-bit systems. A 20 + 20 way device can be combined with the 32 + 32 way offering to support 16-bit systems. Connectors are available with traditional solder tails for the maximum 3A current rating. The press fit option carries a 2A maximum rating.

Components are produced in stack through and non stack through versions; the stack through option allows many modules to be stacked without the need for multiple connector types.

Harwin’s PC/104 connectors will be particularly useful to designers looking to exploit the increasing acceptance of the PC platform outside the narrow confines of the desktop. They can be employed in numerous markets such as consumer electronics, test and measurement, industrial control, medical, computing and automotive.
