SP Devices Announces New CEO, Tomas Wolf

SP Devices today announced the appointment of Tomas Wolf as new CEO and a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Wolf brings more than 25 years of relevant management and industry experience to his new role in SP Devices. Mr. Wolf replaces Per Löwenborg, co-founder, who has served as interim CEO of SP Devices since April 2012.
Dr. Löwenborg will now re-assume the role as CTO and a member of the Board of Directors.

We welcome Tomas’ experience and leadership to the SP Devices community, said Mr. Rolf Hallencreutz, Chairman of the Board. His results-oriented approach in combination with his strategic capabilities will play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our business.

SP Devices is at the forefront of digitally enhanced analog. Some of the most influential customers in ADC semiconductors for radio base stations as well as within advanced test & measurements are already using technology from SP Devices whichaddresses some of their toughest challenges said Mr. Wolf, and added I am very excited to be part of SP Devices and its superior engineering team.

Mr. Wolf has experience in leading and transitioning companies to make them world leaders within their industries. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Wolf has served as a senior manager of Texas Instruments, wireless division. Before joining TI, he was CEO of IAR Systems, which he expanded from a start-up company to a multinational leading supplier of embedded systems development tools.
