The oven features a digital thermometer, which will let the consumer know the moment the food is cooked, to prevent food poisoning. A full HD wide-angle camera works with additional hardware and software that enables the oven to recognise the food and sugests the right programme for cooking the food. To help with this feature, the oven also has built-in digital scales, to weigh the food to help suggest the right amount of time the food needs to be cooked for.
June also has an app that connects with the oven over WiFi, this allows the cook to check in and take control of the oven from anywhere, allowing the cook to preheat the oven from another room. The app will also notify the cook when the food is ready, preheating is done and when a steak needs turning.
The HD video will also stream live video to the cooks phone, through the app and even instagram a picture for the cook. The oven features a 5″ touchscreen, with a resolution of 720×1280 and a viewing angle of 160°. The processing, for the ovens ‘supercomputer’ boards, has NVDIA Tegra K1 with 2.3GHz quad-core processor and 192 CUDA GPU cores.
