Side bags for portable instrument enclosures

OKW has added optional side bags to its CARRYTEC portable instrument enclosures – making sensors, probes and scanners readily available on the move. CARRYTEC enclosures are suitable for a wide range of applications including medical and wellness, communications, data recording, agriculture and forest management. The zip-opening side bags are available as accessories in left- and right-hand configurations.

Their smart design enables sensors and other cabled equipment to remain connected to the main instrument enclosures when packed away – ready to use in an instant.

The side bags can be attached to screw connections on the main enclosure. They are manufactured from moulded plastic and a hard-wearing textile fabric. Each bag features dual zips with corded loops and orange toggles for swift access. An eyelet on the top of each case enables a shoulder strap to be added.

Side bags are available for CARRYTEC sizes S and M. Size S side bags are 82 x 180 x 65mm; size M side bags are 99 x 214 x 64mm.

The main CARRYTEC enclosures feature a tough integrated handle for easy portability. They are moulded from off white (RAL 9002) ABS (UL 94 HB) for indoor use or tough and UV-stable lava grey ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) for challenging outdoor environments.

CARRYTEC enclosures are available in four main sizes with external dimensions from 222 x 205 x 80mm to 348 x 303 x 117mm. Prices start at £45.

Other accessories for CARRYTEC include battery compartments (5 x AA); desk/wall mount stations; gold-plated contacts for charging; IP 54 seals and shoulder straps.

OKW can supply CARRYTEC fully customised on request. Services include custom colours; CNC machining; lacquering; screen, tampo or digital printing of legends and logos; photo-quality decor foils; special materials; EMC shielding; installation and assembly of accessories.
