Seika Machinery Promotes Industry and SMTA Advocate to Senior Sales Manager

Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, recently promoted Michelle Ogihara to Senior Sales Manager.

Michelle joined Seika Machinery’s sales department in November 1998. She has served as the company’s Sales & Marketing Manager for the past six years. In her new position, Michelle will oversee the sales department as well as the national sales, marketing and distribution of Seika equipment throughout North and South America.

“Seika Machinery has provided me with ample opportunities to develop my knowledge and experience in the PCB assembly industry. In my new role, I hope to expand our excellent sales network by providing relevant solutions and first-class service to our customers,” said Ogihara.

Ogihara has more than 10 years of experience in the PCB equipment industry. She is an active member of the SMTA, holding various board positions as a chapter leader and co-chairing the MSD Council as well as serving on several committees at the national level. Additionally, Michelle is a past recipient of the SMTA “Excellence in Leadership Award.” She has chaired technical sessions at SMTAI conferences and led breakout sessions during past SMTA Leadership Forums on numerous chapter-involved topics. Michelle recently was elected to the SMTA Board of Directors.
