Rutronik: System solution from Micronas with CMOS-based gas sensor technology

The GAS85xyB is a new gas sensor chip generation from Micronas based on the mySENS technology. The novel GAS85xyB chip generation is based on a standard CMOS technology which has been proven successful in automotive and industrial applications. Samples are available now at distributor Rutronik.

The system solution detects ammoniac and flammable gases such as hydrogen in the ambient atmosphere and also measures temperature and relative humidity. With its compact size, the GAS85xyB chip combines sensor elements with standard electronic components such as amplifiers, logic circuits and digital interface.

The platform concept of mySENS allows the GAS85xyB chip to be adapted to different target gases. Possible uses range from automotive applications through fire detection, ventilation and air conditioning, automotive and industrial electronic, and health care.
