Online orders move to free delivery

RS Components (RS) says it will now deliver orders under £20 free of charge. The £4.95 delivery charge has been removed for all orders placed online starting today (May 5). Nearly 70% of orders are now placed online at uk.rs-online.com.

Didier Goguelin, Head of Sales, Continental Europe and UK Country Manager at RS said: “Our online business has grown significantly. We recognise the importance of this channel, which is why we continue to invest in our award-winning website to improve the customer journey online, making it simpler and quicker for them to do business with RS.”

He continued: “Whilst some other online retailers impose a small charge on orders placed online, we are removing similar charges so that all purchasing online, regardless of the order value, is free.”
