RS Components announces DesignSpark has gained 6,000 members after just 3 weeks

RS Components today revealed that DesignSpark, the new gateway to online design resources and support has already reached 6,000 members within three weeks from launch. DesignSpark was launched on 5th July 2010, giving engineers trusted and reliable information and resources, bringing together design information, user generated reviews and new free-of-charge tools to speed up the design process. The site can be accessed at www.designspark.com
/> A popular feature for members has been DesignSpark PCB, a free professional standard PCB design software tool. Downloads have reached well over 5,000 in the first three weeks of availability, with users having access to a package providing schematic capture and PCB design without limitations,
making DesignSpark PCB a market-leader in free PCB design tools. Engineers have made full use of the resources and support materials available on DesignSpark, and are actively contributing to the future development of DesignSpark PCB.
