Czech Republic Company AWM recently finished testing its second prototype of a revolutionary wind machine that can recharge electrical cars or batteries in houses, boats, lawn mowers and other electrical home appliances overnight.
Aerodynamic Wind Machines (AWM) say their revolutionary technology will have a global impact on the world of renewable energy and will change how current alternative energy is produced. The technology also makes it economically viable to produce, sell and install wind turbines as a domestic appliance. The customized size of the machine and power output in comparison with the purchase cost makes the appliance affordable to millions of households around the globe.

Not only can the wind machines make millions of households independent from the electricity grid, it can also free cash flow for companies, schools, state offices, local communities, etc. due to electricity savings or the sale of extra power produced back to the grid.

AWM co-founder Zbyněk Slavík says Taking into account the US average electricity consumption of 12 000 kWh per year resulting in a bill of around $1 000, AWM of 2m diameter producing 2-6 000 kWh per year can result in 20-50% household electricity savings, depending on where you live and the wind conditions.

The researchers at AWM believe that electric charging stations and EVs will be the first beneficiaries of this invention.
