The Power Sources Manufacturers Association Nanotechnology Committee is sponsoring a Special Presentation session at APEC 2010 titled Nanotechnology - The Unique Challenge. The Special Session will take place on Tuesday February 23, 2010 at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs California. Featuring seven experts from industry, law, research and government this special event will provide a broad overview of current nanotechnology applications, materials and intellectual property considerations.
In addition to an overview of current applications, attendees at this session will gain insights that will enable them to anticipate and identify potential opportunities for their companies and participate in markets for this emerging technology. Nanotechnology is already being applied in semiconductor, components and power storage designs.

Dr. Anthony F. Laviano, co-chair of the PSMA Nanotechnology Technical Committee and an APEC 2010 Keynote Speaker, stated, this Special Presentation Session will not only be very informative but will also provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with other professionals who are active in the evolving application of nanotechnology in materials and designs. I encourage people to register for APEC 2010 and make plans to attend the Special Presentation Session and to consider participating in the other PSMA sponsored meetings during the week.
