The application was developed by Professional Software Associates, Inc. in late 2009 and can be installed at no cost on any Android phone. It is available for downloading from the Android Market and from the PSA-mobile website: www.psa-mobile.com.
The number of downloads from the Android Market is currently approaching 14,000. The application had two updates in 2010, the first one (in January) provided a Mute Mode and had fixed minor defects based on feedback from users.
Version 2.0 of the application was released on October 8, 2010. The main feature was the SlideShow Editor screen allowing a user to create a new slideshow directly on your mobile phone. Also the “Send to Friend” feature was added. The current version of the SlideShow application provides a refined layout and controls to increase overall usability.
The future release of the application will incorporate additional audio track for each slide of the presentation. Development companies or standalone developers will be able to create tutorials for their applications using voice explanation and background music during the slide show.
