Plextek wins Business of the Year
Plextek has picked up the top accolade at the Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards, being named Business of the Year. The award caps off a fantastic 12 months for Plextek after receiving two Queen’s awards and celebrating its 20th birthday last April, being named ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at the British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs) and being ranked in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA.
The awards, held in the Great Hall at King’s College and hosted by BBC journalist and presenter Bill Turnbull, celebrated the achievements of companies in the Cambridge region, all the more impressive taking into account the tough financial climate of the past year.

This growth has been sustained through the company’s successful modification of its business model to extend from pure design to include niche contract manufacturing.
