Phoenix Electronics is HARTING's Specialist Distributor of the Year

Phoenix Electronics Distribution has received the HARTING 'Specialist Distributor of the Year' Award for 2006 for the second year running. The award was made on the basis of sales growth. Commenting on the award, Doreen Sanderson, HARTING's UK Distribution Manager, said: 'During an excellent year for HARTING Ltd., Phoenix Electronics Distribution has continued its growth of the HARTING franchise through excellent customer service and commitment. We are delighted with all their efforts.'

Douglas Gardner, Sales Manager of Phoenix Electronics, attributes the company's success to its continuing strategy of supporting customers with samples at the initial design stage, through prototyping and finally to production: 'With the increasing polarisation of the market and the industry
drive towards broadline distribution, it is technical specialist companies like ours that are becoming the only alternative for customers who want technical backup and focused service.'

Founded in 1972 and based in Carluke, South Lanarkshire, Phoenix Electronics Distribution specialises in connectors and associated electromechanical products.
