Eurotech Ltd’s GEMINI ICE (Industrial Compact Enclosure) PC is a rugged industrial computer that delivers Intel Core 2 Duo performance from just 1U of 19 inch racking space. This brings advanced communications, graphics and data processing to industrial, transportation and other applications where space is limited and environmental conditions are demanding. The GEMINI ICE PC, featuring a durable, mild steel enclosure and integral low-noise 110/240AC power supply, is air-flow optimised for the high performance GEMINI single board computer within.
The 1U enclosure is just 350mm deep and can accommodate two PCI expansion cards. It houses a low profile DVD/CDRW drive and has both 2½” and 3½” internal disk drive options. System administration and maintenance is eased by front panel access to four USB ports, power switch and a protected system reset button. The front panel also houses an optional LCD 2 x 24 character display, with navigation buttons, status LEDs and user defined buttons. The GEMINI ICE PC is FCC/CE compliant and can operate from +5˚C to +55˚C.

CPU options from 1.8GHz Intel Celeron up to 2.1GHz T7400 Core 2 Duo, with up to 3GB DDR2 memory can be selected to create either high performance or ultra-low power near silent systems. The unit is available with Windows XP Pro or Fedora Core Linux pre-installed. The GEMINI ICE PC provides access to all the core processor board’s features, including four Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 2.0 ports, three RS232 ports, audio jacks or alternatively an LPT1 parallel port. The Intel integrated 945GM Graphic Media Accelerator drives the analogue VGA, composite and S-video output, in addition to offering a second and independent DVI video output. An onboard CompactFlash (CF+) slot accepts Flash storage or wireless cards, with an aperture in the chassis for a Wi-Fi antenna.
