Pasternack redesigns RF and microwave website

Offering excellent site search functionality, a one-page checkout and an updated user friendly interface, Pasternack Enterprises has recently launched its redesigned website. The most noticeable change to the average user is the site’s simplified, stripped down look and feel of the new homepage.

The first major redesign since the company’s previous 2012 website overhaul, Pasternack’s main objective was to provide engineers and buyers with the easiest, most intuitive process for searching and finding any of the company’s 40,000+ RF components and cable assemblies with as few clicks as possible. A left-hand navigation menu enables users to drill down into their desired product categories with a single click; and once in a particular product family, the parametric search parameters allows a for reduction in the total number of products displayed in the results with each successive filter applied.

Other notable features of the new website include: a robust site search engine using the search bar on the top of the page; a one-page checkout screen to smooth out the checkout process, which previously involved numerous pages; and a “live chat” feature which allows site users to immediately reach the company’s sales and tech services departments to “chat” in real time about any questions concerning products, applications, pricing and availability.

John Farley, Director of Marketing, Pasternack, commented: “We’re really pleased with the recent enhancements to our website as we believe we have created the most searchable, user-friendly website in our industry. With over 40,000 products in-stock, it was our mission to develop a site that allowed users to easily locate, research and order any of those products in the most efficient way possible.”
