Ohmite Manufacturing names 2011 distribution excellence winners
Ohmite Manufacturing is pleased to announce its 2011 global winners in distribution excellence. Presented at the recent EDS event in Las Vegas, NV, these awards honor Ohmite’s top-performing distributors. The 2011 Chairman’s Award, Ohmite’s highest sales honor for its authorized distribution channel, has been awarded to TTI, Inc. and Allied Electronics, both headquartered in Fort Worth, TX.
“The Chairman’s Award is our highest honor for sales excellence” said Gregory Pace, Ohmite President. “Sales growth is a leading criterion for recognition, but we also consider mind share from the executive level to the field sales team. Ohmite goes to market the old-fashioned way, with our rep and channel partners, so excellent communication is one of the most valuable assets that a distributor can bring to the table.” Both companies are previous recipients of the Chairman’s Award. Allied has taken the honor once before, in addition to many other sales awards, while TTI has been a Chairman’s Award winner for six straight years.
The 2011 President’s Elite winners are Addcom Solutions, based in Singapore; Master Distributors, based in Miami Beach, FL; Mouser Electronics, based in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Sager Electronics, based in Boston, MA; and TTI Europe, based in Munich, Germany. “The efforts by this group of distributors have been invaluable to our North American and international growth,” said Pace. “They represent a solid level of sales growth and a commitment to working with Ohmite. Adcom is a first time winner, while Mouser and Sager have numerous awards historically, and this is Master’s highest level of excellence to date.”
