Sprint Electric has issued a new motor control technology catalogue. The updated version offers the latest in regenerative three phase digital DC drive technology. Itincludes now, for example, models within the PL/X range for medium and high voltage applications, which are cost-effective options suitable for up to 500, up to 600 and up to 690 VAC. Also, the new catalogue includes the JLX, a slip ring motor controller that is ideal for crane applications.

“Over the last few months we have been changing our product line-up to include more choice and flexibility for our customers,” explains Gary Keen, Sales Director with Sprint Electric. “This latest catalogue puts all of our three phase analogue and digital ranges together in one place, which enables our customers to easily specify the correct product for any given application. It also contains details of the ancillary items such as fuses, holders, AC line reactors etc. that may be needed for each specific drive rating, meaning faster and more accurate selection.”

The catalogue can be requested from Sprint Electric or downloaded. Copies can also be collected in person from the Sprint Electric exhibition stand in Hall 1-450 at SPS/IPC/Drives 2013, international trade fair for electric automation, systems and components, in Nuremberg, Germany, from 26 to 28 November 2013.

Sprint Electric offers a wide range of DC motor control, with over 150 models covering both one phase and three phase, regenerative and non-regenerative DC motor applications, together with field controllers, digital slip ring motor controllers and thyristor stack controllers. Sprint Electric’s full range of products include analogue and digital DC drives from 12 up to 2250 Amps. Whether in retrofits or original equipment, DC drives from Sprint Electric are being used in many different applications including metal processing, the pulp and paper industry, rubber and plastic processing, lifting equipment, food processing, leisure industries and many more.
