Miniature rotaries from Geeplus extend optical applications

When used in conjunction with a shutter, the latest Geeplus miniature bistable rotary solenoid really comes into its own for blocking laser, infrared and other forms of light.

Used to block apertures ranging from a few millimetres to more than an inch in diameter, Geeplus have a solution to situations requiring reliable, accurate operation in equipment such as controlling optical functions in fluid analysis machines.

Activated when the presence, absence, or change in polarity of an electromagnetic field alters the position of a permanent magnet rotor, functions such as angular travel, direction, power requirements, mounting and torque are variable features, all of which can be designed to suit specific requirements such as light blocking, calibration and lens protection.

In addition to applications in infrared cameras, medical and scientific instruments and laser technology, Geeplus miniature rotary solenoids are also used in military and aerospace equipment.
