Michael Walser to head ESCATEC's Global R&D team

With more than 17 years of experience in electronics design, development and manufacturing, Michael Walser has been appointed as Head of Global R&D at ESCATEC. He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration and also has a degree in Electronics and a patent to his name.

Before heading ESCATEC's Global R&D team based in Heerbrugg, Switzerland, Michael worked for GE Energy where he was Technical Leader for IEC Meters for four years. Before that, he worked as the R&D Manager at ESCATEC in its Malaysian operation for nearly five years. During this time, he built the R&D team from five engineers to twenty and increased annual R&D revenues by 500%.
