LEM makes new appointment for its Battery Monitoring Division
LEM SA, the world’s leading manufacturer of isolated current and voltage measurement components, has appointed Alan Denny as the new Business Development Manager for its Battery Monitoring Division.
AlanBased at LEM’s headquarters in Geneva, Alan Denny will play a key role in ensuring that LEM continues to deliver high standards of service and product quality and remains at the forefront of innovative technology. He will focus on driving the business forward by developing a global network of channel partners who will integrate the LEM components into their own battery management systems.
Continuous battery monitoring is increasingly recognised for its importance in lowering maintenance costs and helping prevent catastrophic battery failure in power critical environments where 100% up-time is vital. LEM aims to offer the most comprehensive range of high quality components to the battery management market in addition to reducing the cost of monitoring, which traditionally has been as much as 50-70% of the cost of the battery, to a level affordable by most battery system users.
