Juki Automation Systems announces that it has been awarded a 2012 NPI Award in the category of Software – Production for its IS NPI+ Bundle. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, February 28, 2012 ceremony that took place at the San Diego Convention Center in California. This award, along with its 2012 NPI Award in the Component Placement – High-Speed category, mark Juki’s 31st industry award.
Juki Automation Systems’ President and CEO Bob Black commented, “We are very gratified to win this award for NPI+ and we share credit with our partners at Aegis for this development. NPI+ saves our customers time in getting new jobs to their lines. It ensures a correctly written program for each new assembly without using valuable line time. NPI+ will save our customers time and money, and that is our primary goal at Juki.”

Juki’s revolutionary world-class line level management and optimization software now includes Aegis Software’s CircuitCAM Express, allowing users to perfect CAD and BOM data before generating a program. The seamless integration allows direct library management access, machine programming and optimization features within Juki IS.

The IS NPI+ solution can convert CAD, Gerber, ASCii or centroid data to Juki format in seconds. The software eliminates human errors and dramatically increases efficiency vs. manual teaching, resulting in tremendous cost benefits. Additionally, NPI+ can adjust board origin, rotate data and panelize, allowing for jobs to be run quickly and effectively

Premiering in 2008, the NPI Awards program is an annual celebration of product excellence in electronics surface mount assembly. Premier products based on the finest examples of creative advancement in technology are chosen by a distinguished panel of industry experts.
