ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation obtained for Shenzhen lab

Manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, Würth Elektronik eiSos, strengthens the company’s test lab in the Shenzhen subsidiary responsible for its Chinese plants. The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) has now extended and expanded accreditation of the lab in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025: 2005. The current accreditation now applies until 2023.

No fewer than 60 additional test methods were adopted within the framework of this certificate that guarantees reliable reproducibility of all test results internally and towards customers.

The lab in Shenzhen is the most important facility for quality assurance at Würth Elektronik eiSos outside the company headquarters in Waldenburg.

The qualification for testing the complete portfolio is confirmed with the accreditation of documentation, methodology and calibration by external auditors.

The newly acquired test capabilities above all include tests in the field of LEDs, switches, plug-in connectors and capacitors.
