Ismosys appointed to deliver SAM voice processing message in EMEA

Ismosys, a Spectrum Electronics Group operation, has signed a pan-European deal with Fortemedia Inc, the world leader in small array microphone (SAM ) voice processing technology: The combination of Fortemedia’s 3rd generation SAM technology and the company’s DSP-based voice processor ICs is delivering industry-leading echo cancellation and noise suppression solutions that enable natural flowing, full-duplex hands-free communication to global manufactures of advanced technology mobile communication devices.

Announcing the partnership, David Thomas, Ismosys Director Southern Europe acknowledged Fortemedia’s leadership in hands- free communication technology: “Adoption of Fortemedia’s SAM technology is outstripping consumer demand for advanced technology mobile phones, hands-free telematics, and PC/VoIP applications”, Thomas said. “Ismosys’s nine European offices address Fortemedia’s target European accounts. We’re tasked with an important strategic role in helping Fortemedia to propagate its unique technology and extend its service levels to a rapidly expanding European customer base.”

According to Renato D’Orfani, Product marketing Director Fortemedia chose Ismosys for its proven pan-European sales ability: “In addition its to value added programs – such as its web portal Ismosys.com, which encompasses on-line marketing and sales – it operates a unique follow up partner program with IDH/ODM/CEM customers.
