The diverse panel includes Cary Wood, president and CEO, Sparton Electronics Inc.; Mikel Williams, president and CEO, DDi Corp.; Philip Plonski, managing partner, Prismark Partners; E. Jan Vardaman, president, TechSearch International, Inc.; and Bolaji Ojo, editor-in-chief, EBN.
Topics that will be covered during the keynote are: globalization and outsourcing; if there is a move for business back to the United States; new materials and nano materials; future products that will rock our world; and how will the supply chain make money in the age of the Internet.
“We’re giving each panelist only five minutes to share his or her insights into the future,” says Lars Wallin, IPC European representative, who will serve as the moderator. “This will leave plenty of time for our audience to ask questions and learn how these shocks and opportunities can benefit them.”
IPC has opened up the question-and-answer session so that registered attendees can submit their questions in advance of the event. Using an online survey tool, any registered attendee can pose a question for any of the panelists to answer on-site. Questions may be submitted at www.surveymonkey.com/s/YourQuestion. In addition, questions may be submitted through Twitter and via text message. Tweet @poll IPCSHOW and then the question or text IPCShow and the question to 22333.
Exhibits-only registration to IPC APEX EXPO is free to pre-registrants and provides access to the exhibition and to free events, such as Wednesday’s Keynote and the Opening Keynote featuring William Shatner, educational “BUZZ” sessions, technical poster presentations, the NPL Process Defect Clinic, Wednesday’s Show Floor Reception and numerous free networking activities.
