The G10518(X) series feature very high-speed response of up to 10.7 Gbps making them suitable for a variety of high speed data transmission applications such as SDH (STM-64 or SONET OC-192), 10 Gigabit Ethernet and storage area networks. Two sleeve diameters are available, 1.25 mm or 2.5 mm, making the device compatible with a range of industry standard transceiver package designs.
The G10518(X) is designed to operate with low voltage supply (3.3 Volts) and gives an exceptionally clear open “eye” response diagram. The device provides a differential output signal providing increased sensitivity and dynamic range for all 10 Gbps applications.
