Integrated Device Technology announced that it has shipped 10m RF devices, less than four years after entering the market. Since beginning RF development in 2009, IDT has advanced wireless infrastructure technology with a stream of SNR  enhancing innovations for leading RF developers.

IDT has a broad lineup of RF products including DSAs, switches, mixers, modulators, demodulators, VVAs, VGAs, and integrated receivers. These products offer a combination of extreme linearity and very low power consumption. In addition to wireless infrastructure, IDT's RF innovations can be found in such diverse industrial applications as commercial radar, point-to-point backhaul, and public safety networks.

"The wireless infrastructure market acceptance of IDT's RFIC products is clear given this significant milestone and the expansion of the product portfolio over the past four years,” said Earl Lum, President, EJL Wireless Research.

“Our RF division was started from the ground up, with a team of just three people less than six years ago, and the market’s response has been remarkable,” said Dave Shepard, Vice President/General Manager, Timing & RF Division, IDT. “By targeting the needs of 4G base stations and other high-performance applications, we clearly found a segment that was being underserved.”
