Huawei and Bakrie Telecom deploy huge capacity CDMA MSC Pool

Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world announced that Huawei has deployed the huge capacity CDMA MSC Pool core network for PT Bakrie Telecom (Bakrie Telecom) in Indonesia. It will allow Bakrie Telecom to accommodate the fast-growing needs in the world' s fourth most populous country and also maximize the use of network resources and ensure reliability and efficiency.
Based on Huawei's MSC Pool architecture, the network provides complete network protection against failures and natural disasters, achieving system reliability of 99.9999%. The Pool technology also provides efficient sharing of network resources and maintains service continuity during network upgrades.

MSC Pool also helps in managing software upgrades, troubleshooting without affection system availability. said Radhakant, General Manager of Core Network&VAS at Bakrie Telecom. The load distribution factor of core network is uniform and under operator control, irrespective of geographical unevenness of traffic in different times of day.
