CSR (LSE: CSR) announced the visit of HRH The Duke of York to its headquarters in Cambridge today. Prince Andrew was invited by CSR’s CEO Joep van Beurden, and is visiting in his capacity as the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.
CSR is one of the world’s most innovative companies in the field of wireless connectivity. Prince Andrew will be exploring how CSR’s business model can be considered as an example for growth during challenging times for UK businesses.
CSR and HRH will also share intelligence on the best ways for a UK-headquartered, yet global, company such as CSR to interact with the wider global workforce and global business economy.
As well as speaking to the CEO, The Duke is visiting CSR’s laboratories and speaking to various heads of its Business Units to gain a practical insight into the company’s technical operations.
