BVM is offering some new additions to its AFOLUX Family of touch screen panel PCs. The existing range has sizes from 7 to 19 using the AMD Geode or Via Eden CPUs. The latest additions, 15-19 units, support the Intel Celeron M 1.0GHz or Pentium M 2.0GHz processors with up to 2GB of DDR2 memory and a wide range of I/O formats.
The family provides performance and features that make them suitable for a wide range of higher end applications with demanding processing speed and graphics capabilities, including kiosks, telecommunications, graphics intensive medical applications, gaming applications and others.

The fanless one-piece panel PCs have two integrated speakers and audio lineout, a Bluetooth interface for short range peripheral connections, optional GPRS capability for remote management, 802.11 wireless interface, dual 100 Gigabit LAN ports, RS232 and RS422/485 serial interconnect, 4 x USB 2.0 ports and a SATA port to interface with an internally mounted 2.5 drive or for external bulk storage devices. They support dual screen displays, have a watchdog timer for automatic reboot and have an intelligent system management module to monitor internal temperatures, fan speeds, WDT status and digital I/O set-up. Windows XP Embedded or CE 5.0 are optionally pre-installed on a CompactFlash memory card.

For reliable use in industrial environments or public applications such as kiosks, the front panel is sealed to IP64; the units conform to the VESA mounting standard and various mounting options are available for panel mount, wall mount or desk stand. They are powered from a single 12V external universal 90-264VAC 50/60Hz PSU.
