The partnership amalgamates the strengths of both companies – HARTING’s expertise in producing and marketing Ethernet network solutions for industrial automation and the Nexans knowhow in the development of hardware and software for office applications.
The concept of Automation IT, which aims to facilitate the seamless end-to-end provision of data in communications networks, serves as a common denominator in this co-operation. This is where office IT and industrial systems merge to deliver efficient solutions to ensure maximum transparency.
Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will sell network components independently of one another – HARTING under the name mCON 10000 and Nexans under the heading of iSwitch H300/500.
