GTK gains Cyber Essentials certification

Confirming GTK’s commitment to data security and protection, the organisation has been awarded the Cyber Essentials certificate in line with the Government-sponsored scheme to help UK businesses protect themselves against cyber-attacks.

The certificate states that GTK meets the Cyber Essentials implementation profile (published April 2014) and that the organisation’s ICT defences are assessed as satisfactory against commodity based cyber-attacks.

Steve Robinson, Operations Director at GTK, commented: “Certification to Cyber Essentials is a 10 step process, and is already necessary for companies supplying to the defence and security sectors, where we operate. However, it is fast becoming a requirement across a number of different industries and demonstrates a clear assurance to all our customers that their information is more secure.”
