Forte Becomes OSCI 2010 Global Event Sponsor; Will Co-Sponsor ESCUG, Exhibit at DATE

Forte Design Systems, a leading provider of SystemC high-level synthesis, datapath synthesis, and intellectual property (IP), is a 2010 Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) Global Event Sponsor and will co-sponsor the European SystemC User Group (ESCUG) Meeting.

ESCUG, to be will be held Tuesday, March 9, is collocated with Design Automation & Test Europe (DATE) in Dresden, Germany. Mike Meredith, Forte’s vice president of technical marketing and OSCI president, will present an update on technical working group activities and will appear on a panel titled “10 Years of SystemC: SystemC Quo Vadis?.”

Forte will exhibit its Cynthesizer SystemC high-level synthesis software at DATE in Booth #46 March 9-11. It will demonstrate its SystemC tools available now and in production use for 10 years, along with its newly acquired CellMath tools and IP for improving area, power and speed for existing register transfer level (RTL) designs.
