Fairchild wins Celestica 2012 Total Cost of Ownership Supplier Award

Fairchild Semiconductor has been awarded a 2012 Total Cost of Ownership Supplier Award from Celestica, a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions. Celestica’s awards program recognizes suppliers that support Celestica’s TCOO strategy and demonstrate excellence in quality, delivery, technology, pricing, service and flexibility.

We’re very pleased to receive this supplier award from Celestica, said Mark Norman, Fairchild’s Senior Vice President, Worldwide Regional Sales and Marketing. Making our customers successful is a key initiative for Fairchild. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Celestica, and are committed to delivering high-quality product performance and excellent supply chain management to drive end-product differentiation.

This marks the seventh year of Celestica’s TCOO Supplier Awards program, which evaluates and recognizes the top performers in Celestica’s global network of over 3,000 suppliers. Celestica’s TCOO system is focused on evaluating supplier performance by measuring the total cost to produce, deliver and support products and services beyond the supplier invoice price.

We are pleased to recognize Fairchild Semiconductor as the winner of this year’s eCollaboration Award for providing the best collaboration through our IT tools, said Paul Blom, Chief Procurement Officer, Celestica. Throughout 2012, Fairchild provided outstanding support through their responsiveness and metric performance, enabling Celestica to drive efficiencies, speed and flexibility through the supply chain.
