Eric Bantégnie said: “We are very pleased to be working with Ultra Electronics who are recognised for incorporating the latest technologies in Vetronics (vehicle electronics) systems. Ultra have been very successful in increasing reliability and reducing costs of safety-critical software, SCADE’s automatic code generation and Time Triggered Protocol (TTP) being integral parts of this achievement”.
SCADE software complies with strict standards and guidelines, such as the avionics standard RTCA DO-178B and EUROCAE EB-12B Levels A, B and C, along with industry standard IEC 61508. SCADE 6.0 provides the breakthrough capability a unified modelling, verification and certified code generation capability called the ‘Unified Modelling Style’ that enables embedded systems and software developers to freely combine and nest arrayed data flow elements and state machines in a single, fully integrated environment.
Mark Doyle, Managing Director of Ultra Electronics – Electrics said: “The SCADE suite enables Ultra to develop applications in the compressed timescale demanded by our customers and is considered a key enabling tool for the business”.
Existing modelling solutions rely on the collaboration between two independent modelling editors; however, SCADE 6.0 Unified Modelling Style simplifies the life of the safety-critical application developer. Now, the developer can focus on the productivity of the modelling activity, in the knowledge that all the certification and verification optimisation benefits of the previous SCADE releases are maintained.
