VERMES Technik, the manufacturer of fast piezoelectric dispensing valves, has been spun out of the Woellner Group and turned into VERMES Microdispensing GmbH. The two new stockholders are Essemtec and Promess.
VERMES focuses on fast, highly accurate micro dispensing valves. VERMES’ valves for the MDS 3000 series are well known in many industries such as biology and pharmaceutics, medical technology, chemistry and food technology, mechanical construction, precision engineering automotive, and electronics. Because of its excellent properties the company is the preferred choice for LED and LCD production lines, especially in Asia. The valves can dispense all media from low to high viscosity, and are especially well suited for abrasive and filled media.

VERMES Microdispensing GmbH was founded on May 1, 2010, in Otterfing near Munich, Germany. The new company is now independent of the Woellner Group and takes over all products, staff and know-how from former VERMES Technik. For VERMES Technik’s customers there are no changes: Open orders are processed by the new company, partnerships with customers and suppliers remain unchanged. VERMES remains an independent company and will continue to supply manufacturers of XYZ drive systems.

Two partner companies are now stockholders of VERMES: Essemtec AG in Aesch, Switzerland, and Promess Gesellschaft für Montage- und Prüfsysteme mbH in Berlin, Germany. Both are customers of VERMES themselves ― Promess is a leading manufacturer of high-end press machines, and Essemtec is a worldwide supplier of production and dispensing systems for electronics, medical, solar and LED industries.

The two new owners want to further strengthen and even expand VERMES’ leading market position. New production systems and processes will be developed and introduced within the coming months, thereby strengthening development and distribution activities.
