ERNI Electronics with new management structure
ERNI Electronics today announced the reorganization of its corporate management. This restructuring measure will further strengthen and optimise the Distribution and Manufacturing divisions. Furthermore, in the wake of this reorganisation, the company sees itself as being better positioned for the international market. With
“Having a sales structure that is hinged directly in the management enables us to respond even faster and more flexibly to the increasing requirements within the global competitive environment,” stressed Herbert Sixl. “The reorganisation also emphasises the significance of our state-of-the-art, highly automated and productive manufacturing operations. This will allow us also in future to supply our worldwide customer base with sophisticated products quickly, reliably and at attractive prices,” added Michael Rentschler.
In Europe alone, ERNI Electronics employs more than 600 staff mainly at the corporate headquarters in Adelberg. On average, some 500,000 connectors are produced here every day, complemented by board products, electrical subsystems and wide-ranging services. What is more, the course for further growth was set in 2012, with extensive investments being made in the manufacturing and development sides of the business. The commissioning of the new injection moulding facility saw the production area in Adelberg being extended by around 30%.
In January 2013, ERNI International also took over the company Abotron AG in Switzerland and Abotron in Thailand. With these acquisitions, the ERNI Group is further expanding its offering to cover every aspect of cable assembly and control cabinet wiring.
