Hybrid Components added to electronica exhibition Portfolio

The 2014 edition of electronica will be enhanced with the addition of hybrid components to its exhibition portfolio. At the next electronica, taking place from November 11 – 14, 2014, hybridica (first held at the Messe München trade-fair center in 2008) is being discontinued as a separate brand.

Starting in 2014, electronica will integrate the manufacturers of hybrid components into its exhibition portfolio and combine the topics of hybrid components and electronics.

The move means that Messe München is uniting all of the sectors that are relevant to manufacturers and consumers of hybrid components under a single roof, and that electronica is also expanding its visitor target group.

Exhibitors not only meet the right customers at the international trade fair, they also profit from the fact that electronica is such an international exhibition.

Nicole Schmitt, Exhibition Group Director for the global network of electronics fairs organized by Messe München, commented: “Since the fair has such a large share of international visitors, it gives manufacturers a unique opportunity to reach an international audience.” 46 percent of the trade visitors at the 2012 fair were from countries other than Germany, including decision-makers as well as consumers of electronic components.
