electronica is the world’s largest trade fair for the electronics industry and is held every two years in Munich. Dates for electronica 2012 are Tuesday November 13th to Friday November 16th inclusive. Visitors will be able to inspect and discuss exhibits from more than 2,500 companies representing every aspect of the electronics industry from semiconductors, connectors and other electromechanical devices to measuring and testing systems, electronics design and embedded products, passive components, power supplies and PCBs through to EMS and distribution.
Online registration is a very simple process. Visitors are asked to create a personal trade fair account by providing some basic information. Once an account is opened, it is possible to purchase discounted entry tickets for a single day (€26.50), two days (€45.00) or for all four days (€61.00).
These are so-called “Print@Home” tickets which give the holder immediate entry to electronica 2012 without queuing.
The same process can be used to redeem entry vouchers which exhibitors purchase for their customers. In order to exchange a voucher for a day’s ticket, holders also need to set up a personal trade fair account. Once established, voucher holders need only enter the serial number to exchange the voucher for a ticket.
Pre-registration also allows visitors to register for the electronica newsletter which is an essential source of show news and information.
