QBoard DX2 to be exhibited at electronica 2012

B-plus are to unveil a new CPU module with the Vortex 86DX2 Processor at the 2012 electronica trade fair (Hall A3 – Booth 125). This module features a x86 architecture with a performance and power consumption below the Intel Atom class, extended operation temperature and compact dimensions.
This module is connected to the carrier board with a MXM2 connector with standardized pin assignment

QBoard DX2 is based on the Vortex 86DX2 SoC of DM&P. This System on Chip is particularly suitable for industrial applications and offers various interfaces like e.g. PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet or I²C. A single channel LVDS interface offers the utilization of displays.

There will be scalable module versions with various memory, RAM and extended temperature options available.

Samples for QBoard DX2 will be available beginning November 2012 and start of production is planned in the first quarter of 2013.
