Densitron and Chi Lin Technology Enter into E-Paper Distribution Partnership

Densitron Display Solutions is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Chi Lin Technology to distribute its range of E-Paper Displays (EPDs) in the UK, France and Italy.

The EPDs come in 2.0”, 2.7”, 3.0” QVGA, 7.4”, 8.1” and 10.2”, with other sizes such as the 1.44” and 4.41 to follow shortly. These low-power displays can be used in a variety of industrial applications. Energy meters, for example, are a perfect candidate for these displays as they are all about power efficiency and the displays only consume power during updates.

Their ability to be easily networked using ZigBee modules makes the E-Paper displays ideal for applications such as dynamic price control, asset management and logistics tracking. These displays also offer good sunlight readability despite they consume Zero Power when displaying an image.

Densitron aims to enhance CLT’s EPD product offerings through its display technical expertise and Engineering Design Service which offers options on integrating display modules with PCBs, Plastics, Keypads and/ or Touch Overlays.

“Chilin Display is pleased to partner with Densitron to sell and support E Ink embedded e-paper modules. The market for these low-power displays is growing rapidly, and Densitron is well positioned to service the increasing demand for these products,” says Chi Lin’s V.P. Business Development EMEA Berend Rietberg.

“Densitron and Chi Lin share the same philosophy of excellent customer service and offerings to the industrial market. We are very pleased to have entered into a partnership with Chi Lin to introduce their innovative range of low-power E-Paper Displays into the UK, France and Italy,” says Densitron’s Technical Director Elijah Ebo.
