Link Microtek has added a selection of wound delay lines to the range of products designed and manufactured by the company’s Engineering Division in Basingstoke. Covering applications over a broad frequency range of 30kHz to 2GHz, the new delay lines are manufactured from semi-rigid cable and have a tinned copper outer, a copper-silver plated steel inner and a PTFE dielectric. They are available in connectorised form or with ends prepared for PCB mounting.
Featuring a 50ohm impedance, the delay lines offer typical specifications of 11.64 +/- 0.02ns for a length of 2427mm and 1.5 +/- 0.01ns for a length of 305mm.

The delay lines are suitable for a wide variety of applications in areas such as test and measurement,
mobile-phone base stations and radar systems.

All Link delay lines can be customised to suit individual requirements for specific lengths and connector types, and they can also be supplied with aluminium bobbins if required.
