Cherry Electrical Products Appoints Irish Disributor

“Our partnership with Electronic Resources allows us, for the first time, a dedicated Irish distributor. Until now we have achieved minor successes in the Irish market thanks to direct sales, but this development enables us to penetrate our target markets in the region much more effectively” says Michael Groom, General Manager of Cherry Electrical Products.

Cherry’s switches and keyboards will form a new product line for Electronic Resources, who traditionally specialise in line filters, heat sinks, connectors, cable assemblies, optoelectronics and semiconductors. “Ireland benefits from a strong medical and automotive market, which we can plug effectively with the supply of Cherry switches, sensors and automotive modules. Cherry’s trademark high reliability keyboards will also be in demand in intensive use areas such as internet kiosks in airports and train stations” says Denis Guinee, General Manager of Electronic Resources.
