Celcite appoints Ralf Celso Souza to lead New Business Development and Sales for Latin America operations

Souza will be responsible for driving business development activities in the Latin American region along with managing existing client relations. In his new role, he will work closely with Sanjay Nagdev, Worldwide Senior Vice President of Sales for Celcite. “Ralf possesses the critical commercial experience and technical expertise that will accelerate our business growth in Latin America,” said Sanjay Nagdev. “As Celcite expands its global footprint throughout Latin America, Ralf along with Alessandro Ponce and Ivan Guerra will guide our growth. We expect Latin American to remain the critical growth engine, along with APAC and USA.”

Souza has over 14 years of business development and sales experience in the telecommunications industry. His expertise includes driving targeted business development activities, developing business networks and contract negotiations. Souza joins Celcite from Opticore Networks where he served as the Business Development Director in Brazil. Souza remains based in Brazil, and will begin working for Celcite on September 24, 2012.

He earned an executive MBA from IBMEC in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In addition, he possesses a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UFMG.
