Cambridge Consultants Appoints Business Development Manager To Expand Wireless Expertise Into Emerging Markets

Cambridge Consultants has today announced the appointment of Tim Phipps as a business developer for its wireless team. The appointment highlights the continued success and high demand for Cambridge Consultants' wireless division, now one of the world's largest independent team of wireless communications specialists.
Phipps’ appointment will enable the company to expand its wireless business into emerging wireless communications markets. Phipps brings a great deal of varied experience to the role having previously been Director of Sales and Marketing at electronics design house Plextek and Business Development Manager at TTPCom. Prior to that he was Program Manager at Symbionics. Phipps is highly active in the wireless industry arena and champions the Security and Defence Special Interest Group (SIG) of Cambridge Wireless.

Speaking on his appointment, Phipps commented, “The wireless communications sector is about to enter a period of rapid change enabled by new technologies, so this a great time to be involved with one of the leading centres of wireless expertise in the world. I am looking forward to further expanding and enhancing the reach of Cambridge’s leading consultancy.”
