BTU International, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment and processes to the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, will present a poster on “Rapid Metallization Paste Firing of Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells” at the upcoming 37th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialist Conference in Seattle.
The Conference will be held from June 19-24, 2011 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, where scientists and engineers from around the world will present and discuss cutting-edge work in advancing solar technology. BTU’s poster, co-authored by Paul Richter, Solar Applications Specialist, Frank Botttari, Ph.D., and David Wong, Ph.D., will be presented by Paul Richter on Wednesday, June 22 from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Crystalline Silicon session. The poster will present recent advances in the development of new, production-scale, rapid co-firing processes for silver and aluminum metal contact formation, leading to improved solar cell efficiencies.
