Throughout the event, Mr. Konrad will give three presentations including:
• Conductive Crystals, White Residues, and Decreased Reliability: The Rush to Clean No-Clean ― This presentation reviews the major causes of residue-related failures including dendritic growth, electrical leakage and under-coating adhesion failures.
• To Drain or Not to Drain ― This presentation discusses the potential levels of liability associated with the discharge of cleaning effluent, and the various costs and methods of zero-discharge configurations.
• Defluxing Equipment Best Practices and Roadmap/How Clean Is Clean ― This presentation includes a review of various defluxing methods including immersion, ultrasonic and spray-in-air. Ergonomic, process control, cleanliness verification, chemical compatibility and throughput considerations also will be compared and discussed.
