Antenova Appoints Dr. Devis Iellici as Director of Research and Development

Antenova Ltd, the integrated antenna and RF solutions company, announced the appointment of Dr. Devis Iellici as Director of Research and Development. In his new role, Dr. Iellici will have responsibility of the research and development (R&D) activities of Antenova’s antennas and RF solutions as well as the management of the engineering teams.
“Devis is a highly experienced and talented antenna and RF design engineer who has been responsible for the development of many of Antenova’s commercially successful antenna and RF antenna modules for mobile device applications,” said Greg McCray, CEO of Antenova. “Devis has continually demonstrated his team leadership, technical knowledge and expertise by not only contributing to Antenova’s product innovation but also in successfully bringing those designs to market. Devis has been spearheading our R&D activities for some time and in his new role will expand the scope of his responsibilities to include the management of Antenova’s multi-disciplined engineering and development teams.”

Devis is very well respected in the industry and by his peers, and he has been a major contributor to Antenova’s successes, said Simon Kingsley, Chief Scientist of Antenova.

Dr. Iellici and his team are responsible for developing new and innovative solutions in antenna and RF technology. Prior to joining Antenova, Dr Iellici was Chief Antenna Designer at Telit Mobile Terminals S.p.a., where he designed handset antennas, satellite antennas and low-SAR systems. He is the author of many antenna patents, has comprehensive experience in designing antennas for handsets and laptops, and his designs have been manufactured in millions of units. Dr. Iellici has a PhD in theoretical physics and joined Antenova in 2003.
