Alliance Memory Appoints William Chen as New Sales Representative in Taiwan

Chen has worked in the semiconductor field since 1997, holding key positions in distributor and product line management. He comes to Alliance Memory from Linpo — an Alliance Memory distributor located in Taiwan — where he served as sales manager for worldwide distributors of the GTM brand and product manager for Alliance Memory, among other manufacturers. Previously, he has held sales management position at Cosmo Electronics Corp., E-Tech Electronics Ltd., and Unisonic Technologies Co. Ltd.

In addition, he has worked with us before on the distributor level, so he is quite familiar with the advantages that our cost-saving legacy components provide, said Dan Gilbert, vice president of sales at Alliance Memory. Add to this his extensive track record of success and ability to develop long-term relationships with clients, and we couldn't have asked for a better fit for Alliance.

Chen holds an associate's degree from the English Department of Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages, and a bachelor's degree in French from Tamkang University. He speaks fluent French, English, Mandarin, Hakka, and Taiwanese, in addition to limited Cantonese, Korean, and Japanese.

Chen is based in Taiwan and reports to Gilbert.
