ADATA teams up with Gigabyte for the ‘GO OC 2010’ worldwide final

ADATA Technology, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash products, is pleased to announce its exclusive sponsorship of the worldwide final of the GIGABYTE™ Open Overclocking Championship (GO OC) 2010, the largest overclocking competition in the industry. The competition, which will be held in the Hua-Shan Creative Park, Plum Wine Factory (East 3 Hall) in Taipei, Taiwan, takes place on Saturday, 25 September, 2010.

To mark its sponsorship of the GIGABYTE GO OC 2010 final, ADATA will be equipping the world’s best overclockers with its first class, super fast XPG™ Plus Series DDR3-1866+ v2.0 memory modules to give them the best chance of winning.

Featuring Thermal Conductive Technology (TCT), each XPG™ Plus Series DDR3-1866+ v2.0 memory chip is in direct contact with the heat sink and heat pipe to perform immediate heat dissipation from critical areas. Moreover, the 2oz copper PCB can improve energy efficiency, lowering the system temperature, thereby enhancing system stability.

Alex Wu, Project Manager of ADATA’s Product Management Division, comments: “Needless to say, while competing, the world’s top overclockers will require the best memory available. We look forward to seeing our XPG™ Plus Series DDR3-1866+ v2.0 memory modules push PC hardware to the limits.”

“We are very excited to be a part of such a landmark event, and look forward to seeing our memory modules being taken to the highest speeds by these top overclockers,” says Ukyo Jeong, Vice President of ADATA Technology. “ADATA will continue to support the overclocking community and its events worldwide, thanks to its memory module series,” he concludes.

In addition, ADATA will also be showcasing its latest top of the range XPG memory modules and will be running giveaways at the GO OC event.
