The demand for mobile barcodes is growing quickly. Sending tickets and vouchers to mobile phones for redemption at kiosks, turnstiles and counters reduces operating costs and is convenient for consumers. Vouchers and coupons sent to mobile phones can also be used to increase retail sales through sales promotions.
The LSR106 is configured for different data formats via a serial RS-232 or USB interface, depending on the model. When operated in interactive mode, it can be controlled by the application running on the host IT system to give user feedback.
The device reads 2D, PDF417 and linear barcodes and is software upgradeable.
